It all starts with the relationship
Wonderful things happen when safety and trust exist within a space. I work with a range of people and issues such as neurodivergent children, child development, perinatal/postnatal parents, Postpartum challenges, infants, children, teens, parents, trauma, attachment, and anxiety. However, none of this can be done without our therapeutic relationship, developed to be the foundation in which I can help support you and your child.
Therapy can simultaneously feel scary and like a deep breath of fresh air. I am here to help foster understanding, awareness, and confidence in you and your child. Through collaborative dyadic work, reflective questions, and respect, I want to help you feel like you have power within your life as a parent.
I believe
Parents possess the innate ability to be the kind of parents they aspire to be and that their children need them to be. Sometimes, life's pressures can block this intuitive connection. Together, we'll uncover and address any barriers hindering your access to this intuition. By enhancing your awareness and understanding, we pave the way for you to feel empowered as a parent, role model, and nurturer.
Through play, creativity, curiosity, and fun, you and I will gain insight on what your child’s needs are and what may be happening for them that is difficult to interpret and respond to. I will help to foster a space where your child feels safe enough to convey their needs in a way that does not feel so vulnerable- through their bodies and play!
Our collaborative relationship, will broaden your understanding and skill set to feel confident to respond to and see your child more wholly.
